The campaign for Miu Miu’s first ever fragrance has been released with actress Stacy Martin as its star.

Photographed by Steven Meisel, the brunette wears a blue printed dress while peaking over at the vintage style perfume bottle with intrigue.

The fragrance features lily of the valley, jasmine, rose and akigalawood, an extract of patchouli.

There’s a depth coming from it, a twist to the saccharine sweetness. Think floral, but with a spicy, peppery twinge rather than an earthy one, in close mimicry of the Miu Miu girl – beautiful but with an interesting allure.

The bottle itself too is a reflection this character – a pastel blue body imprinted with the brand’s signature matelassé, with a flat red topper inspired by vintage fragrance caps that women used to apply scents to their necks. It’s more quirky than girly.
