The top 10 airports in the world 2014
For the second year in a row, Singapore’s Changi Airport has been voted the world’s best airport, with the top 10 list dominated by Asia and Europe.
Millions of flyers cast their votes for the World Airport Awards and have given the top spot to Singapore’s Changi Airport for the second year in a row.
It beats 410 airports around the world to snag the lofty title. The awards were based on 12.85 million customer nominations across 110 nationalities.
More than just a place of transit, the Changi airport is designed to take the stress out of flying with features that include rooftop gardens, an entertainment deck with gaming areas, a playground, movie theater, as well as a Balinese-themed swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
