Robinsons Orchard Celebrates Design
For the entire month of March, Singapore’s leading retailer, Robinsons, partners various organisations to bring art and design to shoppers within the department store space in the heart of Orchard Road
For the entire month of March, in conjunction with Maison & Objet (M&O) and Singapore Design Week, Robinsons Orchard celebrates the virtues of design through its collaboration with a host of creative partners to bring art and design to the masses. Both the interior and exterior of Robinsons Orchard will be utilized as a platform to display and express the interpretations of international design trends. Every floor of the 5-storey building will feature themed creative projects from participants such as M&O Paris, M&O Asia, SingaPlural, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Swarovski and Creativeans. In addition, Robinsons Orchard will feature design works by individuals such as M&O ASIA Designer of the Year winner, Kenneth Cobonpue and selected entries from the finalists of the Furniture Design Award 2014. Four other forward-thinking designers hailing from a range of artistic backgrounds around Asia, namely Indonesia (Denny Priyatna), Philippines (Lilianna Manahan), Singapore (Melvin Ong), and Taiwan (Lo Yu Fen), will also showcase their designs and works at Robinsons Orchard. For the month of March, Robinsons Orchard hopes to immerse its shoppers in a creative atmosphere and raise levels of awareness about art and design.
