The highly anticipated French Soirée of the year, Le Dîner en Blanc is making its way back to Singapore for the 6th edition. A glamorous picnic event conceptualised and executed in Paris 30 years ago,Le Dîner en Blanc has evolved into a worldwide event, spanning six continents, in which people “flash-gather” in a public space and set up a temporary, chic dining area, white of course, whilst dressed in the namesake hue.

Today, boasting a remarkable 80 cities around the world, Le Dîner en Blanc is where attendees assemble in a secret venue revealed only at the last minute, decked in a strictly all-white ensemble. The catch? Guests are also expected to come along with their own portable table and chairs and everything else for an elegant extravaganza in tow (Editor’s note: Probably the world’s first pre-hipster de-constructed restaurant concept). While the idea of lugging around bulky furniture under the sweltering Singapore heat might seem far from ideal, Le Dîner en Blanc promises the most spectacular experience for the course of the night.

The Singapore edition of Le Dîner en Blanc 2017 was nothing short of a massive success. Amidst the live entertainment music and dance is a sea of white with guest feasting upon the scrumptious menu – a truly picturesque moment. This year, the master behind the legendary phenomenon Guillaume Chabrières is hosting its biggest worldwide version of the named event as they celebrate the 30th anniversary of their reigning success. Without divulging venue information, Le Dîner en Blanc Singapore 2018 will be held on Saturday, 12th May 2018.
