The Civic District Precinct comes to life with the launch of the inaugural Civic District Outdoor Festival, presented by the National Gallery Singapore. Over the first two weekends of August, the Civic District will be transformed with immersive art installations,  an art market, roving performances, a food street and much more. Experience Singapore’s largest outdoor multimedia installation

Watch the famous façades of four of Singapore’s most beautiful heritage buildings light up with a series of imaginative multimedia projections. In ‘Hemera’s Dream: Outdoor Projection Trail’, follow Hemera and her brother, Aether, on a gorgeously animated adventure across the National Gallery Singapore, Asian Civilisations Museum, Victoria Theatre & Concert Hall and The Arts House.

Featuring a series of large illuminated inflatable bunnies, Amanda Parer’s adorable installation, ‘Intrude’, is definitely worth a visit — whether to appreciate the surreal beauty of giant figures lit up against the night sky, or if you’re just doing it for the gram (no judgement there).

Enjoy live performances by local artistes

With performances by homegrown names like Joie Tan, Nat Ho and MICapella (check out their viral — and PM-approved — National Day medley here), music lovers will definitely have something to look forward to in the evenings.
