Michael Kors Keeps It Light for Resort 2017
Michael Kors’ breezy pieces for the transitional season is every bit as desirable as it is versatile.
“My customers may want to look layered, but she doesn’t want to pack layers,” Michael Kors mused regarding his collection for Resort 2017. Indeed, the collection comprised of layers, intelligently put together with the lightest of materials for an airy, yet put-together look. The diverse designs also included mod Sixties dresses with chunky Mary-Jane heels, and sequinned stripes (because who can resist them). His trademark clean silhouettes and impeccable tailoring were evident, despite the graphic optical illusions at play. The American designer had a good idea of what his customers wanted, and this eclectic collection is proof of that.
